A new site owned by Sega has popped up out of nowhere and it appears to be teasing a brand new title ahead of Gamescom 2019. Titled HMKD, the website only has a heart rate monitor in the background with the words “Be the First to Know” in the center. Clicking on this will ask for an email address for those who want to be informed of any updates regarding the website and its purpose.

The letters are clearly a play on the word Humankind, which has been a long rumored title that Sega has been developing since last year. No other details have been given in regards to the mystery game, but with Gamescom around the corner, the company is sure to unveil a whole lot of information on us very soon. The medical facet featured here could also mean the return of the long forgotten franchise Trauma Center, which is a popular surgeon simulator where you attempt to save patients from dying.

However, it’s more than likely that Sega will be showing off their new AAA title at the event. The last Trauma Center game released in 2010 for the Nintendo Wii, and Sega hasn’t shown any interest in reviving the series since. Along with this new title, Sega will also be showcasing gameplay from Catherine: Full Body, Two Point Hospital, and the Sega Genesis Mini. Gamescom 2019 runs from August 20 to 24 in Cologne, Germany. You can watch the Opening Night Live on the official Twitch Channel which is set the day before on August 19 at 11:00 am PST/2:00 pm EST.
