Gamescom 2019 is in full swing as we’ve already seen some awesome reveals today. Google’s turn was up next, and with their Stadia Connect presentation, they showed off more games that will eventually become available for the Stadia when it launches later this year. Yet for some reason, Google decided to showcase games that were already announced for their service, as recent as E3 2019.
Regardless of this, we did see some new titles announced for the lineup, as well as some unexpected sequels as well. Here is the list of games announced today for the Google Stadia.
- Cyberpunk 2077
- Kine
- Orcs Must Die 3 (Exclusive)
- Windjammers 2
- Destroy All Humans!Â
- Superhot
- Attack on Titan 2: Final Battle
Cyberpunk 2077 needs no introduction as it is already the most anticipated video game of this generation. At this point, it’s been announced for nearly every system, so it’s no surprise that Google was able to get their hands on it. Kine is a very unique puzzle like platformer that has you travel around with various musical instruments as your only means or traversing, similar to Crash Bandicoot except you can’t jump.
Orcs Must Die 3 was one of the bigger surprises during the presentation, especially as an exclusive to the Google Stadia. The series hasn’t seen a proper sequel in years, and fans will be delighted, or horrified, that Google has picked it up for their library. More than likely, the game will be released on other platforms sometime after it’s initial release, but for now, you’ll have to get trhe Stadia to play the newest entry.
Windjammers 2 has been in development for a long time now, while Attack on Titan 2: Final Battle is an expansion of sorts for the original game that came out last year. Destroy all Humans! is a full remake of the PlayStation 2 classic, and Superhot is one of the most talked about PC games in the last few years. Speaking of Superhot, Google took full advantage of having the game for the Stadia by teasing another entry for the franchise, Superhot: Mind Control Delete, which has been in Early Access on Steam since 2017.
Google didn’t really show off a whole lot here, but at least we have a better idea of what will be accessible when the Stadia comes out this year. The Google Stadia will launch in November with the Founders Edition, with the Pro and Base editions releasing in 2020.
