Update 13.1.0 has arrived for the Nintendo Switch console, and here’s the full list of changes and fixes added with this patch.

Nintendo has now released a new system firmware update for the Nintendo Switch console today. The main purpose of the patch is to add support for the Nintendo Switch Online + Expansion Pack. There is also the usual stability update that has been installed too.

Nintendo constantly aims to improve the functionality of its systems and services in order to provide the easiest, most user-friendly experience possible. As a part of these efforts, we are making Nintendo Switch system updates available for download via the Internet.

Ver. 13.1.0 (Released October 25, 2021)

  • Added support for Nintendo Switch Online + Expansion Pack.
  • General system stability improvements to enhance the user’s experience.

The Expansion Pack is quite interesting because it adds several old video games that you can play. The old games are from the Nintendo 64 and SEGA Genesis era. The service also comes with the Happy Home Paradise DLC for Animal Crossing.

The Nintendo Switch console is out now worldwide. You can buy the original version, or you can get the newly released OLED model now.
