Update 3.20 has arrived for Overwatch, and here’s the full list of changes and fixes added with this patch.

Blizzard has now released a new update for Overwatch that should be rolling out to all platforms today. This is a mandatory update so you need to install it before you can play the game online.

There are no new features or content as part of this new update. It includes the new name for Cole Cassidy, some bug fixes as well as the usual gameplay balancing. You can read the full patch notes posted down below.

Update 2.000.001 has arrived for Returnal, and here’s the full list of changes and fixes added with this patch.

Update 2.000.001 or 2.0 has arrived for those that play Returnal on the PS5 console. The new patch is quite large as you will have to download over 10 GB of data to install it.

You can see what the update includes in the video down below.

In short, this update includes both Suspend Mode and Photo Mode. Suspend Mode is quite helpful as you can quit the game without losing too much progress. However, there are still some limitations to when you can suspend your game. Like you cannot suspend during boss battles and things like that. That being said, pausing the game and continuing at a later date is better for some players.

Another feature is the highly requested Photo Mode that allows you to capture lots of great pictures in the game. You can read the full features of the new update below.

Returnal Update 2.000.001 Patch Notes (PS5)

Suspend Cycle

“One of the main features of this update is the Suspend Cycle functionality, which will allow you to pause your cycle to be continued later, letting you exit the game and turn off your console without losing your progress in that session. The structure of the game remains unchanged, so this functionality is not a traditional mid-game “Save Game” option: by suspending the cycle, Returnal will simply create a single use suspend point, and once you resume playing the suspend point is deleted and cannot be used again. Your game will continue directly from the moment you left it, and if you want to suspend the cycle again, your progress will be captured from that new point onwards. There are some limitations in place – for example, players won’t be able to create a suspend point during Boss battles, cinematics, first-person sequences or during intense combat scenarios – as we felt there are certain moments in Returnal that are best experienced unfragmented to preserve the intended challenge and flow.

With this approach, we can keep the roguelike spirit and “high stakes” commitment to your run intact, while still providing some quality-of-life convenience for players who like to experience Returnal in shorter bursts. So next time you’re deep into a lengthy session on Atropos and life comes knocking at your door, you’ll be able to simply Suspend Cycle and jump back in at a more convenient time.”

Photo Mode

“Along with the Suspend functionality, we have also been working on another feature that’s been highly requested by the community and will also be included in this update: Photo Mode. Selene’s journey through Atropos is filled with many memorable moments that are worth cherishing; whether it’s dancing on the knife’s edge amidst intense bullet hell combat, or taking a fleeting moment of serenity to appreciate the eerie atmosphere and dark beauty of Atropos, our Photo Mode will allow you to immortalize these moments in all their glory.

At any point during the game (except some limited circumstances like our first-person sequences), you can simply pause the game and enter Photo Mode, which will put you in control of the camera. You can then use the analog sticks and the adaptive triggers to move the camera around and pick the perfect angle for your photo.

Once you’ve perfected your composition, you can then explore some optional settings like focal distance, aperture, saturation or contrast. You can also set different sources of light to highlight the scene, and choose from a variety of many different filters, effects, frames, coloring options, and much more to help bring that unique flair to your captures.When you’re happy with the result, just hit the Create button on your DualSense wireless controller to take the photo. Update 3.36 has arrived for Fortnite, and here’s the full list of changes and fixes added with this patch.

Epic Games has now released a new update for Fortnite that is rolling out for all platforms. Server maintenance should be finishing soon so it looks like most people should receive this update already.

For PS4 and PS5 owners, these are patch numbers 3.36 and 1.000.046 respectively. Officially though, this is version update 18.30.

There are several new additions that have been made to the Battle Royale mode of the game. Some classic weapons such as the Boogie Bomb and Combat Shotgun can be used to fight off the cubes.

Update 1.13 has arrived for FIFA 22, and here’s the full list of changes and fixes added with this patch.

The second major title update will soon be on its way for the console versions of FIFA 22 later today. This new update will be available for PS5, PS4, Xbox Series X/S and Xbox One owners. PC and Google Stadia owners received this same update a few days ago already.

This update includes major changes to the many game modes. Game modes being affected include FUT, VOLTA Football, Career mode and more. Several other gameplay changes have also been made to this new patch.

FIFA 22 Update 1.13 Patch Notes (PlayStation and Xbox)

FIFA Ultimate Team

Made the following changes:

  • Penalty Shootout kick order will now be decided by the Penalties Attribute.
    • When players share the same Penalties Attribute, the Shot Power and Finishing Attributes will be used to determine the order.
  • After completing FUT Champions Finals competition and qualifying for another while the existing competition is still active, the FUT Champions Finals UI will now inform players that they cannot re-qualify for the existing competition.
  • When qualifying for FUT Champions Finals, a new post match screen will display to notify players of the qualification.

Addressed the following issues:

  • The win streak UI indicator did not appear after winning two Division Rivals matches in a row. This was a visual issue only.
  • On rare occasions, a Division Rivals match could incorrectly start with an inactivity pop up message appearing and staying on the screen.
  • Some kits could clash with the Referee’s kit during matches.
  • The FUT Champions Finals progress window did not display a checkmark beside the Rank I indicator after reaching it. This was a visual issue only.
  • When reaching a new Stage in Division Rivals, the post match screens did not highlight the new Stage. This was a visual issue only.
  • In Squad Battles, the Opponent Select screen displayed a blank space beside the selected opponent’s Rating and Chemistry.
  • When achieving a new Rank in Squad Battles, the post match screen did not display the updated visual indicator for the Rank. This was a visual issue only.
  • When claiming FUT Champions Finals rewards, a pop up message saying the event has ended would appear over the rewards animation.
  • [Stadia only] Matches against the CPU AI did not count towards Stadia’s Games Played counter.
  • Background Tifos did not always display correctly.
  • Some placeholder visuals were present on the FUT Friendlies screen.

Gameplay

Made the following changes:

  • Reduced the effectiveness of AI controlled players blocking Lobbed Passes and crosses.
    • Specifically, AI controlled players were previously able to stretch too far when attempting to block Lobbed Passes and crosses.
  • CPU AI teams are now more likely to commit fouls during matches played on Semi-Pro difficulty and above.
    • This change does not apply to matches played with Competitor Mode set to on.

Addressed the following issues:

  • [PC only] Addressed some instances of visual stuttering occurring after performing Skill Moves during matches.
  • When requesting a Finesse Shot, the ball carrier could sometimes go out of their way to take it with their dominant foot.
  • The Outside Foot Shot Trait did not function correctly.
  • When two players make contact with the ball at the same time, the ball could sometimes fly unintentionally high into the air.
  • When attempting to Shield the ball when taking a touch, the ball carrier could sometimes move erratically.
  • In a rare situation, a player could disappear from the pitch during a match.
  • On rare occasions, the referee could incorrectly call for a free kick inside of the penalty box instead of a penalty kick.
  • The Automatic Player Switching setting did not always function correctly.
  • In Pro Clubs and Player Career matches, the Set Piece Specialist perk did not function during Free Kicks and Penalty Kicks.
  • Goalkeepers could have unintentionally performed a goal kick across the entire pitch.
  • When making a tackle inside of the penalty box, the ball could sometimes unintentionally travel towards the defender’s goal.
  • When calling a player short on a corner, the called player could sometimes perform unnecessary player humanization gestures.
  • When attempting to turn while Sprinting, the ball carrier could sometimes miss a touch on the ball.

Career Mode

Made the following changes:

  • Added News scenes for UEFA Europa League and UEFA Champions League draws.
  • Adjusted Player Career Player Objective selection logic to account for the difficulty of some Objectives.
  • Moved the unavailable player(s) pop up message so that it can appear during the pre-match flow instead of the Career Mode Hub.

Addressed the following issues:

  • Youth Academy players could disappear at the start of the second season.
  • Sometimes, a player’s Match Form could incorrectly decrease after completing a match that they were subbed in for.
  • In a rare situation when coming on as a sub in Player Career, both teams could be positioned in the same half during a kick off.
  • A Youth Player’s potential could incorrectly decrease if they were signed to the senior squad towards the end of a season, with no remaining matches to be played.
  • In Player Career, Match Objectives that were too similar could unintentionally appear.
  • In Player Career, OVRs could incorrectly display multiple values across different menus.
  • Post Match Interview audio could become corrupted when the Disable All Music for Streaming Purposes setting was enabled.
  • Training Drill names could display in incorrect places on the UI.
  • The Squad Hub could remain scrollable even when a pop up message appeared on screen.
  • When attempting to retire a player in the Squad Hub, the affected player was the one shown in the preview panel instead of the highlighted player.
  • Some international matches did not display on the Calendar.
  • The Player Performance screen did not always display 2D headshots.
  • In Player Career, the created Pro was unintentionally not being selected for some national team matches.
  • A placeholder menu was incorrectly visible when entering Game Settings during a match.
  • When Quick Simming a match, yellow and red cards could appear green on the UI.

VOLTA FOOTBALL

Made the following changes:

  • When searching for a match in VOLTA SQUADS, the Objectives widget is now present on the right hand side instead of an Avatar’s information.
  • Lengthened the duration of the up and down arrows on the VOLTA ARCADE results screen and moved them to the left, in order to improve clarity.
  • When browsing the Store or customizing an Avatar, the Avatar’s entire outfit will be on display instead of the camera zooming in on a specific item of clothing.
  • When completing a VOLTA ARCADE tournament and leveling up the Avatar, the post tournament screen will now separately display the amount of VOLTA COINS earned through the leveling and the tournament, respectively.
    • As a result, players can now browse through that UI element but will no longer be able to highlight individual Avatars.

Addressed the following issues:

  • The VOLTA ARCADE timer sometimes displayed an inaccurate amount of time. This was a visual issue only.
  • The entire lobby could unintentionally disband when the Captain cancelled matchmaking.
  • During matches, controller vibration could unintentionally persist.
  • When attempting to matchmake while matchmaking was disabled, players could see an incorrect pop up message.
  • A green arrow indicator could display in an incorrect location on a post match screen.
  • In VOLTA ARCADE, an incorrect badge could be displayed beside the Avatar’s name.
  • Menu narration did not always function correctly.
  • The Welcome To VOLTA ARCADE screen could take a longer than intended amount of time to display.
  • The Select Signature Ability screen did not display a headline and general summary.
  • The Avatar widget could overlap with other UI elements.
  • The Players List pause menu option was missing a visual indicator.
  • Store tiles could take longer than intended to appear.
  • AI players on both teams had white Player Indicators.
  • During goal celebrations, Avatars could incorrectly move through walls.

Pro Clubs

Made the following change:

  • Added the option to toggle the appearance of the Player Performance in game UI.
    • This option can be found in the Visual tab of Game Settings when paused during a match.
  • Added the option to adjust the Perk activation audio level.
    • This option can be found in the Audio tab of Game Settings when paused during a match.

Addressed the following issues:

  • Sometimes, menus could run at a slower speed than intended.
  • Some players could have seen kits different from the ones selected by the Captain in the pre-match flow.
  • The threat indicator could incorrectly move across the pitch.
  • The Player Of The Match overlay incorrectly displayed as blank.
  • Player names were not aligned correctly on the Club Tactics screen.

General, Audio, and Visual

Made the following changes:

  • Updated some kits, celebrations, broadcast packages, stadia, 2D player images, pre-match scenes, UI text formatting, UI elements, ad boards, commentary lines, transitions, crowd chants, and anthems.
  • Added the ability to perform JUL’s celebration to additional players.

Addressed the following issues:

  • Made improvements to the visual fidelity in certain situations on Xbox Series S.
    • We will continue to monitor this going forward.
  • [PS5 and XSX|S only] During penalties, light colored hair could unintentionally appear as dark colored hair
  • Addressed instances of overlapping, incorrect, visually unclear, and placeholder text appearing in some menus.
  • Addressed instances of blurry UI elements.
  • Addressed a rare stability issue which could occur during matches.
  • When attempting to view a main menu EATV video in full screen, the transition effect displayed incorrectly.

Update 13.1.0 has arrived for the Nintendo Switch console, and here’s the full list of changes and fixes added with this patch.

Nintendo has now released a new system firmware update for the Nintendo Switch console today. The main purpose of the patch is to add support for the Nintendo Switch Online + Expansion Pack. There is also the usual stability update that has been installed too.

Nintendo Switch System Firmware Update 13.1.0 Patch Notes

Nintendo constantly aims to improve the functionality of its systems and services in order to provide the easiest, most user-friendly experience possible. As a part of these efforts, we are making Nintendo Switch system updates available for download via the Internet.

Ver. 13.1.0 (Released October 25, 2021)

  • Added support for Nintendo Switch Online + Expansion Pack.
  • General system stability improvements to enhance the user’s experience.

The Expansion Pack is quite interesting because it adds several old video games that you can play. The old games are from the Nintendo 64 and SEGA Genesis era. The service also comes with the Happy Home Paradise DLC for Animal Crossing.

The Nintendo Switch console is out now worldwide. You can buy the original version, or you can get the newly released OLED model now.

Update 2.07 has arrived for Rocket League and here’s the full list of changes and fixes added with this patch.

Psynoix has now released a new update for Rocket League which is available for the PC, PS5, PS4, Xbox Series X/S, Xbox One and Nintendo Switch platforms. There is no server maintenance needed to be done so you can still play the game online once the update is installed.

This update isn’t all that interesting though because it’s something to do with in-game items and and transactions only. You can read the full patch notes for this update posted down below.

Rocket League Update 2.07 Patch Notes

PsyNet Upgrades

  • Update v2.07 is focused on upgrading how in-game items and transactions are stored in PsyNet. Nothing seen in the game client will change, but a client update is needed for the backend upgrades to take effect

Update 1.19 has arrived for MLB The Show 21, and here’s the full list of changes and fixes added with this patch.

Sony San Diego Studio will be releasing a new patch for MLB The Show 21 on October 25th starting at 4pm PT. There will be a small maintenance period for the patch to be installed, although server downtime shouldn’t be for that long.

If you are playing the PS4 version of the game, the update patch number should be 1.19. For those of you playing the game on PS5, your patch number should be 1.019.000. Bear in mind this update will also be available for Xbox Series X/S and Xbox One players too and it’s version 1.0.0.89.

This new update only adds a minor bug fix and no other gameplay changes. You can read the full patch notes posted down below.

MLB The Show 21 Update 1.19 Patch Notes (1.019.000 on PS5)

ONLINE HEAD TO HEAD

  • Fixed a bug that would cause the bullpen menu to become stuck on the offensive user’s screen during head to head games.

Update 1.11 has arrived for EA Sports NHL 22 and here’s the full list of changes and fixes added with this patch

EA Sports has now released a new patch for NHL 22 today on October 22nd, 2021. As of right now, this patch is only available for the PS4 and PS5 versions of the game. The Xbox One and Xbox Series X/S versions are getting the same patch sometime next week.

The patch number on PS4 should be 1.11. As for PS5 players, the patch number is version 1.011.000. There are no details patch notes released yet, although EA Sports did make a small announcement on it. You can read the full details posted down below.

Update 2.32 has arrived for Destiny 2 and here’s the full list of changes and fixes added with this patch.

Bungie has now released a new update for Destiny 2 on all platforms today. You don’t have to worry about any server maintenance anymore as the installation for this patch is already finished. The game’s servers should now be back online.

While we have to wait early next year for the new Expansion, today is mostly about the bug fixes only. On PS4 this is patch 2.32, although officially this is Hotfix 3.3.1.1.

Destiny 2 Update 2.32 Patch Notes (3.3.1.1)

ACTIVITIES  

  • The Corrupted
      • Fixed an issue where the elevator console sometimes couldn’t be interacted with.
      • Fixed an issue where Sedia’s shields would regenerate faster than expected on Nightfall difficulties.
          • Her shields now regenerate based on health threshold in Nightfalls, just like they do in Direct Launch or the Vanguard Playlist.
  • Trials of Osiris
      • Capturing zones in Trials of Osiris no longer grants Super energy.
      • Trials of Osiris now restricts access of fireteam leaders if they have not reached the appropriate gear power level.
      • Added tooltip for Artifact Power Disabled
      • Fixed an issue that caused flawless players who reset to their ticket to prioritize matching with other flawless resetters for the first two wins on the new ticket.
      • This issue would occur even when Flawless matchmaking was disabled.
      • Traveling to the simulated Lighthouse will no longer reset ritual activity streaks

UI/UX

  • Bungie Friends
      • Fixed an issue where the notification toast for 1 or more pending Bungie Friend requests could appear blank for some players immediately after character select.

GAMEPLAY AND INVESTMENT

PURSUITS 

  • Lowered step 7 objective of the Forsaken Campaign Quest from completing 5 Spider Bounties to 4 so players can reasonably complete this quest step in a single day

WEAPONS 

  • Fixed an issue where Demolitionist was not reloading the weapon when a grenade was thrown
  • Fixed an issue where picking up a relic during a reload animation will result in ammo duplication.
      • Weapons will now correctly reload from reserves.
  • Festival of the Lost Weapons (Jurassic Green, Braytech Werewolf, and Horror Story) now drop at a consistent Power level

GHOSTS 

  • Fixed an issue where the Prophecy ghost shell’s ears were not colorful.

Update 1.09 has arrived for Rust Console Edition, and here’s the full list of changes and fixes added with this patch.

Earlier this month update 1.08 was released for Rust Console Edition and it came with a lot of bug fixes. Well update 1.09 is here for the PlayStation and Xbox versions and it adds some Halloween style of content and skins.

This is called the Halloween Hotfix and this update adds a new video for the main menu and an option to see the skins that are on offer.

Rust Console Edition Update 1.09 Patch Notes

Changes

  • Found reproduction steps for the “Invisible walls” bug. When testing in isolation it was discovered they were actually ghost trees, but this has now been fixed!
  • Fixed an issue with Voicechat causing thousands and thousands of requests to be sent in a short period of time. This was leading to slow internal operations.
  • Added more error checking into Voicechat with the aim of catching some of the remaining (rare) crashes.

UI for Halloween

  • Added a “quick open” feature to the main menu. This will take players directly to the new added skin bundles.
  • Added a new video and ambience to the main menu to celebrate Halloween.

Update 1.73 has arrived for Conan Exiles, and here’s the full list of changes and fixes added with this patch.

Funcom has now released a pretty big new update for the PC, PS4 and Xbox versions of Conan Exiles. On PS4 this is patch 1.73, but more importantly this is officially update 2.6 on all platforms.

One of the new additions to this update is support for the People of the Dragon Pack DLC. The new update also includes combat fixes, AI improvements as well as the usual general bug fixes too.

Conan Exiles Update 1.73 Patch Notes (2.6)

Performance and Stability

  • Addressed an issue with the decay system that would compromise server stability when large buildings decayed.
  • Fixed a number of client and server crashes.
  • Curbed down on more instances of Log Spam. It’s still quite spammy, though.
  • Fixed an issue that would cause gaps in the geometry due to asset streaming issues in older console models.

Exploit Fixes

  • Fixed a number of exploits in regards to the building system, crafting, undermesh and player identity.
  • Harpy’s Kiss and Black Ice Arrows can no longer be dismantled.

New Additions

  • New cosmetic DLC now available: People of the Dragon Pack! Including:
    48 building pieces.
    32 decorative placeables
    15 armor pieces
    3 mount saddles
    12 Nemedian weapons

Building Fixes

  • Argossean Pillars no longer block the top of connected stairs.

Crafting Fixes

  • Fixed an issue where it was possible to consume Weapon Schematics even if you already had the feat unlocked.

Combat Fixes

  • Fixed an issue where Harpy’s Kiss arrows were not possible to assign to bows in the normal fashion.
    It is now possible to break the Healing Wraps animation by moving your character.
  • Fixed an issue that caused NPCs to be immune to hit stuns too frequently.
  • Increased the duration of time an NPC can be consecutively stunned by hits to allow full combos from slower weapons.
  • Added a bleed effect to katana’s second heavy attack to allow the weapon to stack bleeds more reliably with the new shortened duration.
  • Weapons that remove attribute buffs from enemies are now keyworded as “Plundering”, as “Cleansing” was too confusing.

AI Fixes

  • Mounts should no longer struggle to get out of bodies of water.
  • Fixed an issue that would prevent Thralls to unequip weapons at the end of combat.
  • Once again, we have sent Thralls to Pathfinding 101, which should result in lesser instances where they get stuck on the scenery, buildings, door frames, trees, rocks, atoms of oxygen and so on.
  • Fixed an issue where NPC counts in certain Siptah camps would be significantly lower in Listen servers (single player, co-op) than in Dedicated servers.
  • NPCs at distant LOD from players should no longer play combat animations.
    Fixed a number of instances where following Thralls would suffer from commitment issues and refused to keep following the player.
  • Orb throwing NPCs should no longer try to engage players at melee range, defeating the purpose of angrily throwing stuff at enemies in the first place.
  • Thralls placed in the Zath altars should no longer hover.
  • After many expensive sessions of therapy, Thralls should no longer have a phobia to the Palace of the Witch
  • Queen and Silver Mines and can access them like functional beings of the Exiled society.
  • NPCs using a shield will now have a better grasp of spatial direction and aim their attacks and shielding correctly at their targets.
  • Traveling between locations now cancels orders given to companions to avoid a time-space conundrum.
  • Fixed an issue where thralls on Guard mode that were issued an attack command with certain server settings would cause them to fight for the cause until the end of times or server restart. Whatever came first.
  • Fixed an issue that would cause chasing NPCs to stutter on Dedicated servers.
  • Distant fights between AI should now resolve as intended.
  • Thralls that have been out of combat for a while should now unequip their weapons and return to a normal state.
  • Fixed an issue that would cause followers to have issue teleporting to the player if no other NPCs were in the vicinity.
  • We’ve increased the bloodlust and will to conquer and dominate on NPCs, as they should no longer stop attacking you after defeating another enemy.

Balancing

  • Reduced crafting costs of several Throwing Axes to make them more cost efficient.

QOL Improvements

  • You can now pickup building pieces if they are at 100% health.

General Fixes

  • Fixed an issue that caused infinite loading screens when joining PvE-Conflict servers on PS4.
  • Twitch drops should now be fully functional on PlayStation, and generally more reliable on all platforms.
  • Enabled Funcom Live Services to support backend operations on consoles.
  • Fixed an issue with LOD distances on Siptah that could cause visual artifacts on certain graphical settings or consoles.
  • Addressed an issue that caused white backgrounds on consoles.
  • It is no longer possible to equip Siptah animal heads as unarmed weapons and try to hit people with them. You bunch of barbarians.
  • Removed a spider called REMOVEME from the admin panel for obvious reasons.

A new patch has now been released for the PC, PS4 and Xbox One versions of Crossout today. Aside from the usual bug fixes, this new update actually includes a new event. The Witch Hunt runs from today until November 7th.

Update 1.84 has arrived for PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds (PUBG), and here’s the full list of changes and fixes added with this patch.

A new update is now available for the console versions of PUBG today. This means PlayStation and Xbox owners will have to download a new mandatory update. It does not look like PC gamers are affected by this newest patch.

Don’t get too excited about the new update though. It’s only a small update that is to fix some little bugs. No downtime is required so you don’t have to worry about server maintenance.

PUBG Update 1.84 Patch Notes

“[Console] A hotfix will be released in 3 hours that resolves the following bugs. Fixed an issue where the Lynx AMR would spawn with 5 bullets instead of 10. Fixed an issue which allowed players to use weapons when in the driver’s seat of a vehicle. No server downtime required.”

Developers Kylotonn and KT Racing have now released a new patch for WRC 10 FIA World Rally Championship on all platforms. If you are playing the PS4 version, this is update 1.03. For those playing on the PS5, this is patch number 1.003.000.

This is the free October update that is available for everyone. This includes the Renties Ypres Rally Belgium which is 7 stages long. They have also added 3 new rally cars, 250 new livery stickers and several other bug fixes to improve the gameplay. Some platform specific changes have also been made.

Update 1.38 has arrived for Hunt: Showdown, and here’s the full list of changes and fixes added with this patch.

A new update has been released for both the PC and console versions of Hunt: Showdown today. Downtime for the PC version is finished, while the console versions are being scheduled very soon. The downtime for the update to be installed will be two hours. It should be finished by the time you read this post.

For PS4, this is patch 1.38. On the PC though, this is recognized as patch 1.6.2.1. There is no new content or features as a part of this new update. The update being released today is mostly for several bug fixes.

Hunt: Showdown Update 1.37 Patch Notes (1.6.2.1)

  • Fixed a bug that allowed players to sprint through concertina mines without being damaged.
  • Fixed a bug where the Scottfield would appear under the ground when dropped by a dead Hunter.
  • Fixed a bug that caused the unlock ranks of the Caldwell Pax and Caldwell Rival were incorrect. Pax is back to Rank 18 and the Rival is back to Rank 10.
  • Fixed a bug that allowed players to “kill” dead hunters that had disconnected from the game. This also caused those dead hunters to appear in Dark sight.
  • Fixed a bug that caused a placed bear trap to go off instantly when set on a dead hunter.
  • Fixed a bug that allowed players to spectate dead or Hunters that had already extracted.
  • Fixed a localization error in the description of the Scottfield incendiary ammo in the Book of weapons.
  • Fixed a localization issue with the description text for the Scottfield in German.
  • Fixed some typos in the German description of the Scottfield in the store, roster tab and the Bloodline progression page.

Update 1.5.0 has arrived for Monster Hunter Stories: Wings of Ruin, and here’s the full list of changes and fixes added with this patch.

Capcom has now released a new patch for Monster Hunter Stories: Wings of Ruin today for both the Nintendo Switch. This is the fifth free update that players will be getting.

The file size is only 0.2 GB for the Nintendo Switch version and the PC version it’s 0.4 GB. While Switch owners have the patch today, the PC version is getting the same update sometime next week.

Aside from the usual bug fixes, this new update comes with additional monsters, co-op quests and subquests. You can read the full patch notes below.

Update 1.0.1 has arrived for Metroid Dread, and here’s the full list of changes and fixes added with this patch.

Nintendo and Mercury Steam have now released its first post-launch patch for Metroid Dread. While the game is mostly playable without glitches, there was an annoying issue that caused the game to crash. It looks like these issues have now been fixed with this new patch out today.

General Fixes

  • Fixed an issue where, if a map marker is placed on a specific door on the map screen (the door destroyed with the beam obtained at the end of the game), destroying that door at the end of the game would cause the game to forcefully quit with the message “The software was closed because an error occurred”.

Update 1.31 has arrived for Fall Guys: Ultimate Knockout, and here’s the full list of changes and fixes added with this patch.

Mediatonic has now released a new update to Fall Guys: Ultimate Knockout and it should be rolling out today on all platforms. If you are playing the game on PS4, the patch number is 1.31. As for the patch size, it’s only 699.1 MB. The patch number and size may vary depending on the platform you are playing the game on.

Update 1.27 has arrived for SnowRunner, and here’s the full list of changes and fixes added with this patch.

Developer Saber Interactive has now released a new patch for Snowrunner that should be rolling out to all platforms later today. If you are playing the PS4 version of the game, the patch number should be update 1.27.

This new update brings in many truck improvements as well as the usual bug fixes. Make sure to tell the developer to give them feedback to improve on the game with future updates.

Update 1.009.000 and 1.05 has arrived for NBA 2K22, and here’s the full list of changes and fixes added with this patch.

Usually 2K Sports releases next-gen and current-gen updates separately, but today new patches are available for both console generations. For some reason PS4 and Xbox One owners will have to download 43 GB and 56 GB for the new update! As for PS5 and Xbox Series X/S owners, the download size is more moderate at around 3.9 GB and 9 GB respectively.

As for patch numbers, PS4 and Xbox One owners should have version 1.05 while PS5 and Xbox Series X/S have update 1.009.000.

NBA 2K22 Update 1.009.000 and 1.05 Patch Notes (Next-gen and Current-gen)

As of right now, there are now official patch notes for either versions of the game at the moment. We will try to update this post as soon as more info comes our way.

The last next-gen update came out October 7th and the official NBA 2K Twitter page said it “addressed an issue reported by members in the community where the game could hang upon completion of MyCAREER or MyNBA/based games.”

The last current-gen update came out a few weeks ago and was patch 1.04. As reported by OrbisPatches.com, this “Improved the stability of the title in addition to a number of general improvements to the user experience.”

NBA 2K22 is out now for the PC, PS5, Xbox Series X/S, PS4, Xbox One and Nintendo Switch platforms.

Update 3.91 has arrived for War Thunder, and here’s the full list of changes and fixes added with this patch.

Gaijin Entertainment has now released a new update for War Thunder that should be available for PC and console platforms. If you are playing on PS4, the patch number is 3.91. On PS5, the patch number is 1.000.056. Officially though, this is recognized as update version number 2.9.0.107 for PC and 2.9.0.106 for consoles.

The developer released server side updates for the past few days, but this is a new update for the game that you have to download. For PlayStation players, a specific FPS drop has now been fixed.

War Thunder Update 3.91 Patch Notes

Armoured vehicles

  • A bug has been fixed that prevents the display of camouflage decorations in the commander’s sight in SB mode.
  • SIDAM 25, SIDAM 25 (Mistral), Gepard, Chieftain Marksman, Type 87, PGZ09 — a bug with reloading with external ammo belts has been fixed.
  • Type 93 — the list of available channels has been fixed in the description of the NVD module.
  • Begleitpanzer 57 — a bug has been fixed where in certain cases the commander’s gun override might not be available (report).

Aircraft

  • A bug has been fixed with a missing trail from low level aircraft on the water’s surface in replays.

Other fixes

  • The “Final Blow” battle award now operates correctly.
  • A delay in switching between commander’s sight to the gunner’s sight has been fixed (rерort).

Playstation

  • FPS drop when firing from a ground vehicle with the hit camera enabled has been fixed.

A new system update has now been released for the PlayStation 5 (PS5) console. The version number of the new update is 21.02-04.03.00.00-00.00.00.0.0.

If you are downloading the new update, it’s available now on October 20th, 2021. The file size for the update is 913.7 MB so it shouldn’t take you too long to download the patch.

The last update to be released for the PS5 console was patch 21.02-04.02.00.02. This was released on October 7th, 2021 and was your usual stability update. From the looks of things, it appears as if this new update is offering the same kind of thing. You can read the full patch notes below.

PS5 System Firmware Update 21.02-04.03.00.00 Patch Notes (October 20th)

Update 2.00 has arrived for Horizon Chase Turbo, and here’s the full list of changes and fixes added with this patch.

Developer Aquiris Game Studio has now released a new update for its racing game called Horizon Chase Turbo. This update comes out several months after patch 1.25 was released. Patch 1.25 was nothing too special because it only added minor bug fixes.

Update 2.00 is much better as it adds support for the new Senna Forever Expansion Pack. This includes a new Career mode and lots of other gameplay improvements and bug fixes too.

The Senna Forever Expansion Pack is here!

Update 1.0.3 has arrived for New World, and here’s the full list of changes and fixes added with this patch.

Amazon Game Studios is about to release a new patch for New World out today. Currently downtime for the update to be installed is happening right now and will last for over 5 hours.

There isn’t any new content or features added as a part of this new update. Most of the new patch has been released to address several bug fixes within the game. There is also some improvements made to the World selection UI along with other additions.

New World Update 1.0.3 Patch Notes

GENERAL

  • Implemented final pieces of the server transfer framework.
  • Added improvements to the World selection UI.
  • Added clearer messaging when a player is kicked due to going AFK or violating the EAC.
  • Added clearer messaging when stacked discounts are present, such as territory standing and faction discounts on property taxes.
  • Implemented back-end changes to help our team investigate concerns around the client performance in War.
  • Adjusted the respawn timer on Boatswain Ambrose and various other elite enemies throughout the world.
  • In The Depths, Players must now be in the arena to damage Thorpe.

  • Reverted a chest/loot change from update 1.0.2 that was causing too many refining reagents to roll from chests.

  • Dyes are now removed from items upon trade with a warning message present.
  • The Time to Declare War” timer now visually pauses to make it clear when an Invasion is imminent but not yet scheduled. Territory remains in a Conflict state after Invasions, and War can be declared.

BUG FIXES

  • Fixed issues with the T4 and T5 azoth staffs— go close those high level portals!
  • Fixed an issue causing the abandoning event notification to persist.
  • Fixed a housing UI issue. The UI will now correctly shows that property taxes are subject to the full price of the home, and not impacted by the first time home buyer discount.
  • Fixed issues with early game spawning. The watchtower respawn point is replaced by the Settlement after it has been discovered. Players no longer incorrectly respawn at a Watchtower after selecting to respawn at a Settlement.
  • Fixed various localization issues throughout the game.
  • Fixed an issue where not all items for Town Projects were consumed when completing the mission.
  • Resolved login errors that prevented players from accessing their character.
  • Fixed an issue that caused Arena keys to not drop as intended.
  • Fixed an issue that caused the Runic Bear armor to not be appropriately dyed during Wars.
  • Fixed a pet placement issue. Pets placed in an otherwise empty house now remain in the home after the player logs out, instead of returning the pet to the player’s inventory.
  • AP Southeast servers now display the correct time zone in-game.
  • Fixed an issue with titles – player titles and achievements now appear as intended, and the achievement tab properly updates when a new achievement is earned.
  • Fixed an issue that caused Company invites to persist after decline/accept.
  • Fixed an issue that caused Rajah spawns to stack forever – one big cat at a time, please!

SPECULATIVE FIXES

The fixes listed below are tentative fixes and mitigations. Our goal is to get these changes out and see if issues persist, so we can continue to work on them and address in a future update if necessary.

  • Worked to fix an issue where Wars and Invasions kicked off earlier than scheduled.
  • Worked to fix an issue where not all settlement stations upgrade as intended when town projects are completed.
  • Players should no longer become stuck when entering or exiting an instance. If a player reconnects and their character is dead, the respawn screen is open with respawn options available. Players who are currently stuck need to contact customer support to have their character unstuck.

Fallout 76 Update 1.58 Patch Notes

Halloween is descending on Appalachia with our latest update for Fallout 76, which arrives today. Scare up some fun over the next two weeks by hunting down Spooky Scorched, trick-or-treating at others’ C.A.M.P.s, and by giving out candy from your own home. Read on to catch all the details.

Update Highlights

  • Spooky Scorched: Some of the Scorched are celebrating the Halloween season by dressing in costume and dropping special loot!

Spooky Scorched Are on the Prowl

Halloween is almost here, and some of the Scorched are getting into the spirit of the season by dressing in their most festive costumes as they creep around Appalachia! From now until November 2, whenever you spot “Spooky Scorched” during your adventures, or hear their spine-chilling holiday sounds, it’s time to go on the hunt.

  • Spooky Scorched will spawn as 1, 2, or 3-star legendaries, which means you’ll receive a legendary item every time you take one down.
  • You’ll also receive a Spooky Treat Bag, which you can open to get some goodies like consumables, ammo, and a chance at some Halloween themed Plans.
  • Finally, you’ll receive a piece of Mystery Candy that you can eat to receive one of five random buffs, which may include stat boosts, or even Nukashine-like effects.
  • TIP: While it can be tempting to devour all your Mystery Candy right away, you may want to hold on to a few pieces so that you can take part in our Trick-or-Treating event this year (more on that below).
  • Please also note that, like the Holiday Scorched, Spooky Scorched will not spawn inside of interiors.

Update 2.32 has arrived for Minecraft, and here’s the full list of changes and fixes added with this patch.

Mojang has now released a new patch for Minecraft that is available for both the PC and console versions of the game. For those of you playing on the PS4, the update patch number is 2.32. Otherwise this is known as patch 1.17.40 (Bedrock).

This patch includes some Experimental Features to the game as well as lots of bug fixes. The Experimental Features are a work in progress, but they should feature in future patches.

    Update 2.15 has arrived for Rainbow Six Siege, and here’s the full list of changes and fixes added with this patch.

    Ubisoft is now going to rollout a new update for Tom Clancy’s Rainbow Six Siege on October 19th. If you are playing the PS4 version of the game, the update is patch 2.15. Officially though, this is update Y6S3.3. Downtime to install the patch will only be for 30 minutes.

    There are many different patch sizes for the update depending on the type of platform that you play the game on. You can read the file sizes below.

    Update 3.35 has arrived for Fortnite, and here’s the full list of changes and fixes added with this patch.

    Epic Games has now released a new update to Fortnite that should be rolling out to all platforms today. On PS4 and PS5 the patch numbers are 3.35 and 1.000.045 respectively. Officially though, this update is known as patch version 18.21. The patch size is around 669 MB to 2.0 GB depending on what platform you’re using.

    Probably the biggest addition of the new update is the Fortnitemares Event to celebrate the upcoming Halloween season. This includes the “Wrath of The Cube Queen” which has now descended onto the island.

    There will also be several Halloween themed items for you to get when this new update goes live. The Horde Rush mode also comes back. You can read some of the details of the new update below.

    THE CUBE QUEEN SEIZES CONTROL

    The Cube Queen’s emergence brings changes to the Island.

    Since Fortnitemares began (and even before), the Cubes have been mobilizing. Their migration towards the Island’s center wasn’t just to spread corruption — they’re now at the center forming The Convergence. What is the purpose of this mysterious structure?

    You’ve come across the Cubes and fought back the Cube Monsters, but a new force has joined their ranks: Caretakers are The Cube Queen’s strongest warriors yet. Tall, foreboding, shadowy apparitions, their spectral tendrils pull you directly into The Sideways for a showdown on their home turf. Survive a Caretaker’s assault and you’ll walk away all the richer.

    Things don’t end there. The Cube Queen’s wrath has given rise to a new Sideways weapon — the sinister Sideways Scythe — as well as returning items like Witch Brooms and the Pumpkin Rocket Launcher. Use the Scythe and these wicked supplies to hold your own in battle.

    HORDE RUSH RETURNS

    Horde Rush is back! The Cube Monsters are pushing out of the Sideways and into our realm. Fight alongside your teammates to rack up your score by finding score multipliers, earning combos, and eliminating as many monsters as you can. To win, survive at locations across the map and take down the Final Boss!

    The Horde Rush LTM will be live from October 19 at 9 AM ET to November 2 at 9 AM ET, but not just on its own. There’ll also be Horde Rush Quests you can complete for special rewards! Unlock the Thinking Juice Back Bling, a Cube Queen Banner, and the Cuddle Scream Leader Spray.

    Also, be on the lookout for a Horde Rush Tournament this week with more Locker items to earn! Practice the mode with your squad ahead of time to prepare. More details will be available soon in a blog post and the Compete tab in-game.

    As the cards foretold, Cubic chaos has been unleashed in Fortnitemares 2021. Fun awaits amid the madness:

    HELP AN ORACLE, ARIANA GRANDE, AND A GHOSTBUSTER FOR SPECIAL REWARDS

    The Horde Rush Quests are just some of the Wrath of The Cube Queen Quests, and the Horde Rush rewards are just some of the rewards! Available from October 19 at 9 AM ET to November 2 at 9 AM ET, Hollowhead will present you the Fortnitemares Punchcard. Here are its objectives and rewards!

    1. Complete general Fortnitemares Quests to unlock the Raven’s Curse Spray, the Midnight Showdown Loading Screen, and Wrathful Breakout Contrail.

    2. Ariana Grande has returned to the Island, but now in new gear ready to take down monsters. “Spacefarer Ariana Grande,” the galaxy’s greatest monster hunter, is inviting you to join her hunt. Complete her Monster Hunter Questline to unlock the new All-Weather Extractor Pickaxe (Dark Style)!

    As a Fortnite Crew bonus during Fortnitemares, active Fortnite Crew subscribers who complete the Monster Hunter Questline will receive the Brite Style of the All-Weather Extractor Pickaxe (in addition to the Dark variant).

    3. Scrolls tell of the Spirit Vessel, a powerful artifact that can restore Dark Jonesy’s visions. Help Dark Jonesy in his The Oracle Speaks Questline to unlock the Cube Cruiser Glider, an unfolded Cube you can ride on!

    Hollowhead’s Punchcard won’t be the only Punchcard going live at 9 AM ET, though…

    PUNCHCARDS PACK A PUNCH + POWER LEVELING WEEKENDS RETURN!

    Not just in Fortnitemares, Daily and Weekly Punchcards have been expanded and reworked, now offering additional objectives and more XP for each completion. We’ve replaced the “Spend Bars” and “Place Top 10 with Friends” Quests with new Quests that rotate weekly. Each Daily Punchcard reward has recently been upgraded to 45,000 XP (previously 30,000 XP), while completing Quests in your Weekly Punchcard rewards 75,000 XP (previously 50,000 XP).

    Update 1.81 has arrived for Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot, and here’s the full list of changes and fixes added with this patch.

    A new update has now been released for Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot today. If you live in the United States and Europe, the patch number on PS4 is 1.81. For those living in Japan, the update patch number comes out as 1.80.

    The file size for the update is 1.583 GB if you own the game on the PS4 console. The patch number and size will vary if you own the game on another different platform.

    Update 1.44 has arrived for Call of Duty: Warzone, and here’s the full list of changes and fixes added with this patch.

    Raven Software has now deployed a new update for Call of Duty: Warzone on October 18th, 2021. If you are playing the PS4 version of the game, the update number is 1.44.

    One of the new additions to the update is the inclusion of Iron Trials ‘84 game mode being enabled for Private Matches. All versions are limited to 132 players, but this will increase to 150 players in the near future.

    Only one small weapon adjustment has been made. The rest of the update is to address several bug fixes. You can check out the full patch notes posted down below.

    Nintendo will soon deploy a new update for Super Smash Bros. Ultimate coming out this week. One of the main purposes of this update is to get ready for the new Sora DLC that adds him as a playable character.

    Update 1.06 has arrived for Diablo 2 Resurrected, and here’s the full list of changes and fixes added with this patch.

    After releasing a patch for the PC version of Diablo 2 Resurrected a few days ago, the consoles are now getting the same update. This update should now be available for the PS5, Xbox Series X/S, PS4, Xbox One and Nintendo Switch versions of the game.

    There are several bug fixes and issues that have been rectified for this patch. Blizzard has implemented a new Login Queue to combat high traffic periods. These are the only notes that have been posted so far. You can read the full details down below.

    Diablo 2 Resurrected Update 1.06 Patch Notes

    GENERAL

    • We have implemented a Login Queue for high traffic periods. This queue will pop up after the title screen when opening up the game. The queue will only appear during high traffic windows.
    • Players will be shown a number on where they are in queue.
    • Players will have the option of exiting the queue and playing offline immediately if they wish by hitting “Escape” on the queue prompt.
    • We should note that the higher your queue number appears, the slower the number will refresh in the prompt. The number is still refreshing in the background, so we do not recommend leaving queue as this will create further delays to you entering the game during these high traffic windows.

    EA Sports has now released a new patch for the PS5 and Xbox Series X/S versions of Madden 22 today on October 15th, 2021. It does not appear as if the last generation of consoles have an update today.

    If you are wanting to know the file sizes, they aren’t too large. On Xbox Series X/S the file size is only 504 MB. For those of you playing on the PS5, it’s 358 MB.

    It does not appear as if this update comes with any new features or content. This update is mainly to address some small bug fixes. You can check out the full patch notes below.

    Madden 22 Update 01.007.000 Patch Notes (PS5 and Xbox Series X/S)

    • Addressed an issue where players were experiencing crashing when selecting certain formations

    Update 1.10 has arrived for Guilty Gear Strive, and here’s the full list of changes and fixes added with this patch.

    Arc System Works is about to release a new patch for Guilty Gear Strive on October 15th, 2021. Even though the update won’t be released until later today, the full patch notes have been posted already.

    A lot of the characters are getting balance changes and many game modes are also getting fixed. One good item is the addition of the PS4 event “Tournament” feature.

    Guilty Gear Strive Update 1.10 Patch Notes

    General / Game Modes

    • Added support for the PS4 event “Tournament” feature.
    • Pressing the △ button at the main menu displays any upcoming PlayStation Tournaments open to entry, and will automatically match players with their opponents during supported tournaments. This feature is not supported on the PS5 console, or on the PS4 version when running on a PS5 console. (Arc System Works does not provide sponsorships, endorsements, or management.)
    • Reduced the network connection time upon login.
    • Added a “Sync R-Code with Server” feature under System Settings from the main menu Settings option.
    • Using this feature downloads the R-Code from the server and applies it as the R-Code for the current save data. Please use this feature when your save data has been deleted or lost.

    Network Mode

    • When the player’s suggested floor is the Celestial Floor, they will now begin matching on the Celestial Floor after selecting Quick Start from the main menu.

    Training Mode

    • When Counter Setting and either Automatic Psych Burst or Automatic Roman Cancel are set simultaneously, the Counter Setting will be prioritized.

    Battle

    • The battle version has been updated from 1.04 to 1.05. You can check the battle version in the Replay Theater, etc. Some missions in Mission Mode have been changed to reflect this.
    • Fixed a bug where sound effects for flame attacks would be played multiple times under certain circumstances.

    R-Code

    • Fixed a bug where the Maximum Combo Damage and Maximum Combo Hits would not be displayed properly. Previous data will be reset on login, and properly registered from current gameplay.
    • Damage from Wall Break will now be included in Maximum Combo Damage, Total Damage Dealt, and Total Damage Taken.

    Other

    • Fixed a bug where the Network functions would not respond properly, mostly after viewing a large amount of play data from the Ranking screen.

    Major Confirmed Issue:
    Network features are completely inaccessible under certain play environments.
    We are continuing to look into and address this issue.

    Update 1.12 has arrived for FIFA 22, and here’s the full list of changes and fixes added with this patch.

    EA Sports released the first major patch for FIFA 22 on the PC version over a week ago. Well now the big update for the game is released for the console versions today. This includes the PS5, PS4, Xbox Series X/S and Xbox One versions of the game.

    If you are playing the PS4 version, the patch number should be 1.12. On PS5 it’s patch number 1.000.002 and the file size is around 2GB.

    This is the first huge patch for the game so there are a lot of notes to accompany it. There are changes to Ultimate Team, Career Mode, Volta Football and lots of bug fixes too. General audio and video settings have also been altered.

    FIFA 22 Update 1.12 Patch Notes (PlayStation and Xbox)

    FIFA Ultimate Team

    Made the following changes:

    • Updated Division Rivals Progress tile UI to improve readability and clarity.
    • Players will begin their walkout animation slightly later when opening or previewing a Pack with a walkout Player Item.
    • Tifos can now be seen in the Stadium while a match is paused.
    • Tifos can now be seen during additional pre match scenes in Squad Battles and Friendlies.
    • When obtaining Stadium Items or Bundles from the FUT Store, a pop up message will now inform players if one or more of the Items is for a Stadium customization slot that needs to be unlocked via Objectives.
    • When previewing a kit Stadium Item or a Stadium Item Bundle containing a kit, a goalkeeper wearing the aforementioned kit is now present beside the outfield player.

    Addressed the following issues:

    • The FUT Champions Play-Offs post match screen did not always correctly display the total points and Rank.
      • This is a visual issue only, and the correct Play-Offs progression was and continues to be available on the Play-Offs progression screen.
    • Addressed an issue with FUT Hero Joe Cole’s Player Item, and the inability to enter a match while the Item was present in the Squad.
    • After qualifying for the FUT Champions Finals, the Play-Offs rewards screen displayed an incorrect number of Finals qualifications. This was a visual issue only.
      • Finals qualification provides one entry into the competition, and the correct information continues to be displayed when rewards are previewed on the Play-Offs Progression screen.

    • When listing an item on the FUT transfer market, if the Starting Price was one increment lower than the Buy Now Price, players may have received an error blocking the item from being listed on the transfer market.
    • The Division Rivals main menu window did not display the player’s current placement when stating that the player’s rewards were ready to be claimed. This was a visual issue only.
    • The augmented reality presentation overlay did not show the correct scoreline when appearing after a successful penalty kick in extra time.
    • When displaying the opposition squad during offline Friendly match loading, the Squad Rating and Chemistry UI elements did not display correctly.
    • Quick Sold Kit Items were sometimes not being removed from the Club and could have been Quick Sold again, but for 0 FUT Coins.
    • After completing a Division Rivals match, the button callout for the in game friends list could disappear until re-entering Rivals.
    • Some sound effects did not play correctly during post match scenes in Division Rivals and FUT Champions.
    • Swapped players were flickering during a FUT Friendlies Swaps match.
    • Improved visibility of the wins counter that displays in the Division Rivals post match flow.
    • Improved visibility of the New Division text that displays in the post match flow when being promoted to a new Division in Division Rivals.
    • The Division Rivals post match screen could sometimes run slower than intended.
    • Following a match loss in Division Rivals, the progress bar could disappear during the post match flow.
    • Some Division Rivals reward status descriptions on the Rivals Progression screen were vaguer than intended. This was a visual issue and did not impact progression.
    • When the Competitive Master Switch was turned on, Through Ball Assistance could not be set to Manual if desired.
    • Some Badge and Kit Items did not display correctly.
    • A stability issue could occur when viewing Crowd Card Items in the Stadium menu.

    Gameplay

    Made the following changes:

    • Reduced the effectiveness of goalkeepers when diving for top corner shots taken from inside of the penalty box.
      • This change specifically applies to shots taken within 37 feet/11.27 meters of the goalkeeper.
    • Improved the frequency of player controlled sliding blocks making contact with a traveling ball.
    • Updated the defensive logic for players near the halfway line when defending a counter attack that originated from a corner situation.
      • Defenders near the halfway line will now attempt to more closely mark the counter attacking players.
    • Added goalkeeper animations that could occur when a keeper is attempting to save a high finesse shot.
      • This change is intended to provide more authentic looking goalkeeper reactions and very slightly increases the effectiveness of goalkeepers saving this type of shot.
    • Updated the defensive logic for players near the halfway line when defending a counter attack that originated from a corner situation.
      • Defenders near the halfway line will now attempt to more closely mark the counter attacking.
    • Improved the frequency of player controlled sliding blocks making contact with a traveling ball.
    • Widened the area where the reticle can be placed during free kicks in order to allow for more control over spin and general placement.
    • In Co-Op matches, Player Lock will now be canceled after the Player Locked player performs a pass, or after their teammate performs a pass to a different player.
    • [PS5 Only] Added a new Controller Setting to set desired Adaptive Trigger Resistance.
    • Improved referee logic to call more fouls caused by high velocity tackles.
    • Improved referee logic to call for fewer penalty kicks caused by reasonably timed slide tackles.
    • Improved referee logic to call more fouls in situations where a player purposefully collides with a goalkeeper that is holding the ball.
    • Improved referee logic to call for fewer fouls due to soft physical contact.
    • Improved throw in accuracy and target selection.

    Addressed the following issues:

    • Sometimes, a late Fake Shot request resulted in a pass.
    • In rare cases, players could take an unintentionally poor touch.
    • In some situations, the ball carrier would not perform the Feint and Exit Skill Move when requested.
    • When manually rushing the goalkeeper outside of the penalty box, the keeper could incorrectly attempt to make a save with their hands.
    • When attempting to intercept the ball, the intercepting player could sometimes take an unintentionally heavy touch resulting in possession loss.
    • Players with a Skill Move rating between one and three will now perform the Bridge Skill Move when requesting a Skilled Bridge Skill Move, instead of performing no Skill Move.
    • In some situations, the defending team’s player would momentarily stop moving after the attacking side performed a Lobbed Through Pass.
    • When receiving the ball from the air, players could be rarely seen running in place before taking control of the ball.
    • When receiving the ball from the air from behind, in some cases, the receiving player would not attempt to take control of the ball while running.
    • In rare cases, players could take an unintentionally poor touch.
    • After catching the ball near the goal line and falling to the ground with it, the Goalkeeper could sometimes slide on the pitch.
    • When a goalkeeper was attempting to punch the ball after a deflected shot, the keeper could attempt to head the ball instead.
    • The goalkeeper would sometimes not make an attempt to save the ball following a shot, if the shot occured close to the keeper.
    • In some rare scenarios, the goalkeeper would get up too slowly after engaging in a physical contest.
    • When attempting a diving save, the goalkeeper could sometimes dive diagonally instead of laterally.
      • This was a visual issue only and addressing it does not change goalkeeper performance in these situations.
    • In rare situations, when attempting to move while shielding the ball, the shielding player could leave the ball behind.
    • In rare situations, the goalkeeper does not attempt to catch a cross near the goal area.
    • In some rare scenarios when a ball was kicked out of play, the incorrect team was given the ball to resume play.
    • When playing as a locked player and the match ends in a penalty shootout, the locked player’s Match Rating could unintentionally decrease during the shootout.
    • When skipping a non gameplay scene that plays before a goal kick, the input combination could sometimes result in the Come Short or Push Up function being requested.
    • Sometimes, fouls were not being called when committed on a player performing a nutmeg or a Bridge Skill Move.
    • A penalty kick could have been incorrectly awarded after a well timed sliding tackle in the penalty box.
    • On rare occasions, an incorrect animation could occur after a Skill Move was requested.
    • Sometimes, the ball carrier could dribble in a different direction than requested.
    • Occasionally, a player could get stuck in a Strafe Dribble animation for longer than intended.
    • Sprint Knock Ons could not be requested if the Sprint button configuration was changed.

    • Corrected the start date of the Turkish Super Lig.
    • The post match interview button callout was sometimes taking the player to the main hub following a completed match.

    • Create Your Club generated players and Youth Players were not being given randomized boots.
    • Some Training Drills displayed incorrect descriptions.
    • When simulating matches in Player Career, the level up screen would not display after gaining a new level.

      • Requesting a Driven Lob will result in the request for a standard Lob.

    • In the Disco Lava VOLTA ARCADE party game, Avatars could sometimes get stuck near the edges of the playing field.
    • Requesting a High Lob during a round of Foot Tennis could give the other team a point.
    • In some situations, the serving Avatar’s teammate would incorrectly move away from the playing area in Foot Tennis.

    Addressed the following issues:

    • After completing a Club Friendly match, the visual overlay detailing the amount of XP earned was not appearing. This is a visual only issue, players were still earning XP.
    • Custom Tactics presets were not always being correctly applied during Drop In matches.
    • When playing a Practice Match, the match could have ended prematurely if the CPU AI made tactical changes.
    • The ball trail was not always visible for player controlled goalkeepers.
    • Some equippable celebrations were incorrectly named.
    • When customizing AI teammates, the Known As field was not being saved.
    • Threat indicators were sometimes not displaying during gameplay.
    • The Drop In lobby did not display the active voice chat speaker.
    • When customizing your Virtual Pro, the Commentary Name UI could display incorrectly.
    • Custom kits could incorrectly appear as completely black during gameplay.
    • The Brentford Community Stadium was unintentionally made selectable when customizing the Club.
    • Players could not back out of a match search after rapidly readying up multiple times.
    • The Match Performance UI element was overlapping with the Mystery Ball UI element during matches.
    • A stability issue could occur on the Club Customization screen.

    Kick Off

    Addressed the following issues:

    • Improved the transition effect when viewing different tabs in Match Facts during Kick Off matches.
    • In Kick Off matches, a player’s second yellow card did not display the correct red card UI indicator on the Events screen.
    • The Advantage Settings UI indicator was difficult to read.
    • The Connect Online option did not function correctly and returned the player to the Side Select screen.

    General, Audio, and Video

    Made the following changes:

    • Added new songs in EA SPORTS Trax and VOLTA Trax.

    • Added the ability to perform Jul’s celebration to some players.
    • Updated the order of players on the Player Performance screen so that Strikers are at the top instead of goalkeepers.
    • Updated some broadcast packages, stadia, crowd chants, commentary lines, tifos, UI elements, corner flags, crowds, pre and post match scenes, goal songs, anthems, badges, ad boards, tutorial overlays, celebrations, non playable characters, and balls.
    • Updated several instances of the UI displaying typos, misaligned text, incorrect visuals, and unintended spacing.

    Addressed the following issues:

    • When turned off, the Player Based Difficulty Indicator could still display during matches.
    • The Player Based Difficulty Indicator could stay on during non gameplay scenes and could be visible at all times throughout a match.
    • The Player Based Difficulty Indicator remained active after being turned off during a match.
    • Default Game Plans found in Team Sheets through the Customise menu only had minor Defensive Depth changes between them.

    • Hair styles could appear as a different color than intended depending on lighting conditions.
    • Closing and re-opening the title during the Welcome Experience could cause some corrupt audio and lighting to occur.

    Update 1.39 has arrived for Dying Light, and here’s the full list of changes and fixes added with this patch.

    Even though Dying Light 2 is on its way very soon on all platforms, Techland is still chugging along and releasing new patches for the first Dying Light video game.

    Today the developer has released patch 1.39 for Dying Light. This patch number is for the base game in the United States. The patch number may differ depending on region and what version of the game you own.

    The new patch is 7GB on PS4, 8GB on Xbox One and 12GB on PC. The only patch notes released for the game so far come from the PS4’s update history. You can read the details down below.

    Ember Lab released patch 1.09 for Kena: Bridge of Spirits not too long ago earlier this month. It was just a small patch that had some minor bug fixes here and there.

    Well now the small developer has released an even newer update with patch 1.10 hitting all platforms. If you are playing the game on PS4, the file size is 228 MB and the patch number is 1.10. If you are playing on the PS5, the patch is version number 01.010.000.

    Ember Lab did not share any patch notes so far, so the only details we have are from the PS4’s update history. You can read the full details below.

    Update 1.81 has arrived for PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds (PUBG), and here’s the full list of changes and fixes added with this patch.

    After releasing a pretty big update for the PC version of PUBG a few weeks ago, a new patch should be rolling out now to the console versions of the game. If you have the PS4 version of the game, the patch number should be 1.81. Otherwise for everyone else this is patch version 14.1.

    Maintenance for this patch is still ongoing and will last for around 7 hours. After the maintenance is finished, you should see the new update deployed on consoles.

    As like other PUBG patches, this update includes changes to the Taego map. Gameplay balances and several other new content is also added. If you want to check out the bug fixes, you can see the details down below.

    EA Sports has now announced that the online servers for FIFA 22 will be down for a few hours today. The downtime should be happening on October 14th, 2021 for most people around the world.

    Unlike other maintenance schedules planned in the past, it looks like downtime is only going to happen for FIFA 22. It does not appear as if other FIFA games will have their online servers off for the time being.

    You’ll be happy to know that the maintenance is going to last for only 2.5 hours. The reason for today’s maintenance is to simply install a new update for the console versions of the game. The PC version already got the same update over a week ago.

    Maintenance Announcement

    “We have scheduled a FIFA 22 maintenance coming up on October 14, from 6:00 to 08:30 UTC. FUT & VOLTA FOOTBALL match creation will be disabled 30 minutes prior to the maintenance in order to avoid potential mid-match disconnects.”

    FIFA 22 is out now PC, PS5, Xbox Series X/S, PS4, Xbox One and Google Stadia platforms. Later today we will be sharing the new patch notes that are to be released for the upcoming update.
